Air Quality is Underrepresented

Nice build quality, easy setup and quite fan. The only problem is the air quality indicator is a bit of dishonest marketing. It is nothing more then a filter replacement indicator. I got mold in my place and decided to test this unit out before cleaning it up again. So I put the air purifier on high for a couple of hours right next to it. Surprisingly the unit says the air quality is excellent. There is more to air quality then dust, pollen, and smoke. So when purchasing this unit know that, it does not indicate air quality. I Can Breathe!

I am so happy with this purchase! Within minutes of plugging it in I took a DEEP breath! I bought it for my poor allergy eyes, but I also have asthma, mild copd and pulmonary hypertension and it is rare for me to get that deep cleansing breath. FIlters have been OOS for months which makes this product useless

I love this air purifier and govee products in general. I have over 25 products in the govee ecosystem and I've only had 1 minor issue previously. That being said. I'd advise against buying this particular air purifier though until they fix the supply chain issues they're having with the filter replacements. You must replace your filter every few months in order for the purifier to operate effectively. I signed up for the filter subscription in October and Govee hasn't been able to fulfill my filter order. I emailed them directly asking for an eta on when the replacement filters will be back in stock and they said in short, they don't know. That exchange was almost 2 months ago and they still haven't been restocked on Amazon or the Govee site. The purifier itself is lovely, easy to use, relatively quiet, has a ton of features, and isn't an eyesore. I haven't been able to use mine for months now though because Govee doesn't have filters for their own product. I'll update my rating once they fix this issue but I cannot recommend anyone purchases this product until they do. ... show more

Functional and quiet

Nice air filter. Is it better than any of the other smart air filters out there? I dunno. It's quiet when you set it to night mode or on low, and when you crank it up to high it'll increase the air-flow noticeably in my 250 sqft studio office. It integrates with Govee home app and works for my use-case, so I can't complain. Overall, it's a nice air filter. I wish the app provided more information on the air quality - currently, the light just changes color to indicate the air quality, but there is very little information aside from a basic R,B,G color light to indicate how clean the air is. I usually just keep it on night mode or the low setting because it likes to ramp up to the high / LOUD mode whenever something sets it off. However, with that said, so far I've only had that happen when vaping in the same proximity as it. I picked up a replacement filter when I purchased it so we'll see how long it lasts and what kind of shape it is when the indicator turns on. ... show more
