League of Legends

The world of League of Legends, or as the cool kids like to call it, LoL! It's a multiplayer online battle arena game that will have you hooked from the moment you enter Summoner's Rift. Developed and published by Riot Games, this gem of a game took inspiration from a custom map in Warcraft III called Defense of the Ancients. Riot's founders thought, "Hey, let's take this awesome concept and turn it into a full-fledged game!" And boy, did they succeed.

In LoL, you'll join forces with four other brave souls and battle it out against another team of five. There are so many champions to choose from, each with their own story and way of wreaking havoc on the battlefield.

As you clash with your opponents, you'll earn experience points, gold, and items to make your champion stronger and deadlier. Level up, gear up, and strategize with your teammates to dismantle the enemy team's defenses and destroy their Nexus, a massive structure at the heart of their base. Victory tastes sweet, my friend!

In League of Legends, "Elo" refers to a system of ranking that measures a player's skill level. Low Elo generally refers to players who are ranked in the lower divisions or tiers of the game, such as Iron, Bronze, and Silver. These divisions represent the lower end of the competitive ladder.

Patch 13.10, or the Midseason update, doesn't specifically change the concept of Low Elo. It primarily focuses on addressing issues with ADC and Support itemization, problematic Assassin items, and early game gameplay. These changes are aimed at improving the overall balance and gameplay experience across all skill levels, including Low Elo.

For Low Elo players, the changes in patch 13.10 may have an impact on the meta, item builds, and overall gameplay strategies. It's essential for Low Elo players to adapt to the changes and experiment with different champions and item builds to find success in their matches.

LoLPatch 13.10

In the midseason update, Riot Games has addressed several core issues with League of Legends, focusing on ADC and Support itemization options, problematic Assassin items, and early-game gameplay. The patch also includes adjustments to ARAM, a Mythic Shop rotation, and the introduction of Snow Moon skins. Here are some of the balance changes that have been implemented in the 13.10 patch:

  • Health growth increased from 101 to 110.
  • Passive ability (Way of the Wanderer) shield strength increased from 100-575 to 125-600.
  • Wind Wall (W) cooldown reduced from 30/27/24/21/18 seconds to 25/23/21/19/17/15 seconds.

  • Base armor increased from 28 to 30.
  • Health growth increased from 99 to 105.
  • Spirit Cleave (W) cooldown was reduced from 166 seconds (scaling with bonus attack speed) to 146 seconds (scaling with bonus attack speed).
  • Spirit Cleave (W) shield strength increased from 35-55 (levels 1-18) (+55% bonus AD) to 45-65 (levels 1-18) (+65% bonus AD).

  • Health growth increased from 99 to 104.
  • Attack damage (AD) growth increased from 2.5 to 3.25.
  • Mounting Dread (E) critical strike threshold increased from 15-65% of the target's maximum health (scaling with crit chance) to 25-75% of the target's maximum health (scaling with crit chance).

These changes are aimed at providing quick buffs to champions who were negatively affected by the item changes introduced in patch 13.10. Yasuo and Yone, the "wind bros," lost survivability due to adjustments in the Shieldbow item, which was shifted from Mythic to Legendary. Kindred also suffered a decrease in damage output due to changes in the Kraken Slayer item.

It's important to note that these adjustments are not meant to be comprehensive, as Riot Games plans to provide further balance follow-up in patch 13.11. The midseason update aims to address specific concerns while ensuring a more enjoyable and balanced gameplay experience for players.

LoL Gameplay

In League of Legends, get ready to embark on an epic journey filled with thrilling gameplay and intense battles. Once you step foot onto Summoner's Rift, you'll find yourself in the midst of strategic and action-packed gameplay.

The objective is simple: work together with your team to outsmart and overpower the opposing team. Each player controls a unique champion with their own set of abilities and playstyles. From fearsome warriors to cunning mages and everything in between, there's a champion for every taste and style of play.

As the match begins, you'll start at your team's base, where you'll gear up and decide which path to take. There are three main lanes to choose from: the top lane, mid lane, and bot lane. Each lane has its own unique dynamics and strategies. Your goal? Crush the enemy's defenses, destroy their turrets, and ultimately take down their Nexus to claim victory.

But it's not just about mindlessly charging into battle. Strategy and teamwork are the keys to success. Coordinate with your teammates, communicate through pings and chat, and plan your moves to catch the enemy off guard. Farm minions for gold and experience, slay fearsome monsters in the jungle for buffs, and control important objectives like Dragon and Baron Nashor to gain an edge.

As the game progresses, your champion grows in power. Gain levels, earn gold, and purchase items to enhance your abilities and make your mark on the battlefield. You'll have to make crucial decisions on which items to buy, balancing offense, defense, and utility to suit your champion's strengths and the evolving needs of the game.

It's a chaotic symphony of explosions, heals, shields, stuns, and skillshots. Success hinges on your ability to position yourself effectively, time your abilities just right, and coordinate with your team to maximize your impact.

As you play, you'll face challenges, experience triumphs, and learn from defeats. League of Legends is a game that rewards dedication, strategy, and a willingness to improve.
